"Give all the credit to the changes our coaches made at the half, my line, our wide receivers and tight ends, who all threw key blocks," said Anderson, who finished the night with 29 carries for 192 yards and two touchdown receptions for 108 yards.

"Carlos is amazing," Donohoe said after a fiery post-game session with his team at midfield. "I'm so proud of those guys. I told them all week that we were coming into the hornet's nest, and after that first half, they knew what I was talking about.

"We made a few offensive adjustments at the half and Jared did a great job running the offense all night. The holes were there in the second half, and with guys like Carlos and Derwin (Hall) in the backfield, all they need is that little seam to make a big play."
