BSAA Youth Coaches - Summer Visits

As high school coaches, some of the most meaningful professional development opportunities we experience are when we visit other football programs on their campuses. Instead of sitting in the audience for 45 minutes as a speaker talks on a narrowed topic, an immersive visit like this gives us a first-hand chance to observe and interact with coaches and players within the confines of their facilities. We feel these experiences allow us to walk away with a variety of information along with a refreshed vision of how we want to implement new aspects into our program.
With these experiences in mind, we have decided to provide the same opportunity to area youth coaches and extend an invitation to visit and receive a comprehensive insight into our program. Our goal is to give youth coaching staffs a chance to visit our facilities, interact with our players, experience workouts in the weight room and on the field, sit in on meetings, and ask questions of our coaching staff on both sides of the ball. It is our hope that each youth coach will leave with a better understanding of the responsibilities that coaches have to players along with some specific drills and/or program ideas they will want to implement.

- Each youth coach only attends once throughout the summer
- Youth coaches on the same staff attend on the same day
- Youth coaches arrive at the specified time so that our staff can accommodate you while also carrying out our coaching responsibilities as well
